Like humans, fish also needs oxygen to survive. As water enters along their breathing area,
very small bubbles of oxygen are formed and are transferred from water to their blood, this oxygen is called as dissolved oxygen.
Oxygen is produced by the process of photosynthesis and consumed by the process of respiration.Light is an essential
requirement for this process to occur that is it occurs only during daytime. In daytime, thermal stratification that is different
temperature at different depth accounts for the warmer water near the surface of the lake which means very less dissolved
oxygen while the deep water is having plenty of dissolved oxygen that is why fish tends to go deep during daytime for
their survival.

Hey dude!!!

Fishes go in deep water during daylight because during daylight the temperature of the surface of the Earthis more which affects the oxygen content in the air , because the warmer the air the lower oxygen level and this may affect the life offishes.
