During day time , the shallow water is warmer and hence contains less dissolved oxygen. Therefore they tend to go in deep water during day time.

Fishes go in deep water during daylight because during daylight the temperature of the surface of the Earth is more which affects the oxygen content in the air , because the warmer the air the lower oxygen level and this may affect the life of fishes.
