1. They get depressed because of the lack of deep water.

2. They get depressed because they have no place to hide from birds flying in the sky.

3. Birds swoop down and try to kill them or actually do make fish disappear.

4. Cats come buy and go fishing with their paw which is very, very easy for a cat to fish with a paw in shallow water, they like fish and they are not scared to get a fish even if it's an indoor cat and it's your cat and your fish and the fish has a big tank, they try. You having a shallow pool of fish is an easy target to a cat.

5. Not just a cat, but any other animal than a feline or bird (avian) could love to eat your fish...

6. Parasites can be in the water too, killing your fish.

Answer: they die due to lack of oxygen and water

Explanation: during summer, there is more heat of sun and this leads to the loss of oxygen in water

Even if the oxygen is not loosed then also the water does evaporate and ( fish cannot live without water ) - everyone knows!!!
