why do fishes die when taken out of water​

Answer:

  • Because it could take the oxygen that is dissolved in water only by its gills
  • It can't take the oxygen directly from the atmosphere

They die because.. they are not capable of living on ground.. they have gills, to exchange gases in water and whereas the gills cannot be used above the water..
