Why do flamingo like birds migrate in large distance

Explanation:

Flamingos usually do not migrate like other non-migratory species but changing climatic conditions force them to do so.

They usually live in alkaline or saline lakes or in the estuarine lagoons. Since, they live in high altitude areas, the lakes freeze in winter due to which it is difficult for them to find food or survive.

Other problems include raising water level or droughts due to which birds migrate.

They also migrate to areas where they easily breed.
