Answers
Answer:
Hi there!
Flowers have bright colours and scent in order to attract insects and other organisms for pollination.
Answer: To attract the insects(pollinators)
Explanation:
In order to transfer pollen grain from male flower to female flower , flowers need the help from the insects. The bright colour of the flower and the scent attract the pollinators(insect) . when the Insect suck the food from the flower, in the mean time flower( male) drop the pollen grain on it. And when the same insect(pollinators) suck food from other flower of same type(female) the pollen grain on the body of insect is dropped on the female flower and thus it paves way for reproduction. Mostly insect pollinating flowers are colourfull and posses scent. but not flowers those pollinate by wind or water. Hopes it helps you. :)
