why do food cook faster in pressure cooker?

inside a pressure cooker air is captured and pressure of this air increases as continuesly getting heated,,,,, due to the continuous heating of this highly pressurized air the food start cooking faster

because of heat and the steam produced by pressure cooker is not dissolve in air so food cooked faster
