MNCs are interested in industries such as cell phones automobiles electronics soft drinks fast food or services such as banking in urban areas these products have a large number of well-off buyers.
The Government of India has introduced industrial zones called Special Economic Zones SEZs which have world class facilities like electricity water roads transport storage recreational and educational facilities.
Companies who set up production units in SEZs do not have to pay taxes for an initial period of 5 years.

It is because India is a land where all type of farming and industries can be set up...for example jute,cotton,coffee etc or we can say that India is a fertile land.For industries we can say that India has a high population that is why the set their plants and industries here so that they can have profit and well organised plan of their project
