why do forest fires occur more frequently during summers

gpk123: Forest fires occur more frequently during summers because the heat of the sun ignites the dry leaves, and the twigs. Then the fires spread through the woods which leads to massive forest fires

During summer , the leaves and twigs dry up . Even if a ciggarette is thrown , the dry leaves and twigs catch fire easily and spread it causing forest fires.

Mitrajsinh: so you want to say forest fire ocuor because someone smoke sigarets in forest
