Simple because of the more intermolecular force in liquid
in comparison the gas particles dont have that much force so they are diffused easily

HEY GUYS ...
HERE IS U R ANSWER...
Gases have more intermolecular space between them which help them to overcome the forces of attraction. liquid generally have less intermolecular spaces as compared to gases.Due to the intermolecular space between them the diffusion of gases become faster as compared to liquid.
HOPE THIS WILL HELP YOU...
THANKS...
