they mostly study buildings as the study tells how stable that place is where the building is constructed i.e if an earthquake occurs the how much damage will be caused or will the building stay stable during the earthquake .they also study buildings to know how much forest area has been cleared out or how much damage the contruction of the building has caused to the environment
