This is the struggle for existence between the seeds to get the best environmental back up for sprouting.

It is important for every seed to overcome the dormancy and to get best amount of water, sunlight, soil nutrition, etc. to flourish and capture the growth.

Unless the resources are adequately availed it is not possible for the seeds to catch up the growth.
