Why do gold and platinum not corrode in moist air?

gold and platinum have saturated d orbitals

gold and platinum are plced very low in the activity series,this means that they are very less reactive hence they do not corrode in moist air.While on other hand we have sodium and potassium which are very reactive which can even react with water!even there is an element which is stored in kerosene in order to prevent it with reacting with sunlight
