There could be many reasons for making grammatical mistakes despite learning them for a long time.

Why do people make grammatical mistakes?

  • Some people learn grammar rules but don't use them and lack of practice leads to mistakes.
  • There are some students who don't really understand the rules.
  • Some people make mistakes because they watch movies where actors don't follow certain rules and they write incorrect sentences.
  • If one wants to write grammatically perfect English sentences, practice is the key.
