Why do hadza do not feel any shortage of food in the time of drought?

i) There is never any shortage of food because vegetable foods such as roots, berries, the fruit of the Baobab tree etc. is always abundant even at the height of the dry season in a year of drought.
ii) Animals are exceptionally numerous and apart from the elephant most of the animals that are hunted are eaten by the Hadza.

Hadza is a small indigenous ethnic group found within Northern Rift valley of Tanzania.

They are the pastoralists and have the new life style to adapt with the adverse conditions such as drought and hence it is very difficult for the to experience the effect of drought in same measure as other community which are used to a different lifestyle.

They are the nomad pastoralists which have the following ways of life style adaptability during the drought period.

Majorly depend on livestock products majorly cattle.

Have got no permanent location of stay such as other communities.

Have got believes that the plants grow with little or no rainfall.

Have very small life style which does not require complex resources as other communities do.
