Why do HCI, HNO, etc.. show acidic characters in aqueous solutions
while solutions of compounds like alcohol and glucose do not show acidic
character?

HCl and and HNO3 show acidic behaviour in aq solution as they dissosciate in water to produce Hydrogen ions while solution of glucose and alcohol do not form ions in water.

HCL AND HNO ARE OF ACIDIC MEDIUM ALSO ALCOHOL AND GLUCOSE TOO,BUT ITS ALL DEPEND ON THERE PH VALUE .
