Why do HCL and HNO3 shows acidic charecter in aquous solution while solution of alchole and glucose do not show acidic charecter?

Because of this property HCl and HNO3 show acidic character in aqueous solutions. On the other hand, alcohol and glucose can not dissociate in water to form hydrogen ions. Hence, they do not show acidic character.

HCL and HNO3 shows acidic character in water because they form hydrogen ion (H+ ) in aqueous solution . While the solution of glucose or alcohol which also contain hydrogen do not form hydrogen ion (H+) ion in water . Thus these compounds do not show any acidic character.
