Hello,

Herbivores are the organisms which feed themselves on plants and plant products.
These living organisms don't intake any carnivore or non vegetarian foods.

They have a feature that their intestine in long.
That is because of their adaptation.
The small intestine only help in complete digestion of the food due to the secretion of the succus Entriques.

The herbivores Eat such kind of food which requires huge processing.
The plant products contain cellulose in them which is very hard to digest.

Large /long small intestine helps in storing those bacteria who help in digestion of the cellulose.

This is the reason why the small intestine of herbivores is long.
---> for the digestion of cellulose which they eat.

Hope this will be helping you....
