The Himalayas, as other usual mountains have a lots of glacier. And due to global warming (warming of earth) the glaciers melt due to hot climate and flows through the river that cause river.

Advantage of flooding :

  • It helps in replenishing the soil around the river which is good for cultivation of crops.
  • It increase fertility and in fertile land people gathers i.e starting development.
