Fireworks are used by Indian’s in a way to express their joy for the day Prabhu Ram Ji (the famous god) returned with Mata Sita (his wife) and Lakshman ji (his brother)from his Vanvaas. He had also killed Ravan( on Dussera), so basically it based on the classic “victory of light over darkness”
