Cow is considered as mother by Hindus for the following reasons:
● According to Hindi Mythology, Cow has all the 33 crore gods and goddesses residing within her. This religious statement is the first and foremost reason that Hindus consider cow as sacred.
● Secondly, in ancient times Cow was the base for indian sociery as every household had a cow necessarily at that time. Cows gave milk, cheese, curd, cow dung was used as fertilizers for fields and its urine was used as a pesticide at that time.
Cow holds religious as well as social sentiments of the Hindus. Its importance since the ancient times is the main reason that cow is considered as holy mother by Hindus.
