Why do honey bees collect honey in their honeycombs?

Only worker bees and drones collect nectar from plants and after secretion it becomes honey and stores in honey comb.

Queen of honeybees eats this honey to produce eggs.

If eggs fertilized, produces worker bee.

If eggs not fertilized, produces drones (male) by parthenogenesis.

So honeybees don't have father but have grandfather(Nana).
