Humans don't want to change or modify the environment it's just that the environment is being changed because of the side effects of his inventions.

Well... if they really have wanted to change the environment then they wouldn't have taken measures to save environment.

Humans don't want to be adaptable they just want to make their surroundings convenient for them and this is the reason they want to modify environment as per their own benefits and nothing else...

Answer: Human beings interact with the environment and modify it according to their needs. Early humans adapted themselves to the natural surroundings and were entirely dependent on their environment. They led a simple life and fulfilled their needs and requirements from the nature around them. Gradually, as population increased with time, needs grew and human activities like cultivation of crops also expanded. Therefore, humans learn new ways to change the environment for the sake of fulfilling their requirements. In the process, they modified as well as destroyed the environment.
