Answer:

Humans actually require oxygen for breaking down glucose which helps in providing energy. Without oxygen no energy will be produce as glucose is not broken. So ATP(the energy currency of cell) is not produced consequently. All organs will stop functioning and ultimately we will die. Our brain will die first as it requires oxygen majorly via blood.

Answer:

There is a process known as oxidation {you will study in higher classes }. that means addition of oxygen.

we eat food . Our food has mostly carbohydrates which is simplified in glucose by acid and enzymes in our stomach.

Glucose is further changes into ATP molecules in mitochondria of our cells. Now this ATP molecule is known as energy molecule. it contained packed energy.

Now as we breath oxygen , oxygen comes to lungs then from lungs blood carry oxygen in every single cell and organ.

Here oxygen is used to oxidise or you can say to unpack energy from ATP molecule. oxidation of ATP molecule produce energy that we use in every activity

hope that you got your required answer.
