why do ice cubes when pressed hard between two panels release the pressure and cube gets join together ​

The reason for it is that an increase in pressure decreases the melting point of ice. ... When the pressure is released , the ice cubes join together. The lowering of pressure increases the freezing point of the ice cubes and they fuse together.
