Insectivorus plants are said to be Autotrophic because they have chlorophyll and can make their own food since they lack nitrogenous copynd absorbtion so they depends on insects for nitrogenous compounds. This is the main reason why Insectivorus Plants are said to have both Autotrophic as well as Insectives nutrition.
