In Autumn, with less sunlight, chlorophyll is not produced. The chlorophyll breaks down, the green color disappears, and the yellow to orange colors become visible and give the leaves part of their fall splendor.

Hi friend,
The chlorophyll breaks down ,the green colour disappears and the yellow to orange colour becomes visible and gives the leaves part of their fall splendor. At the same time other chemical changes may occour, which form additional colours through the development of red anthocyanin pigment.
Hope it helps u friend... Plz mark it as brainliest...;)
