Why do leaves droop when excess fertilizer is added to the soil?

It is so because if we add excess fertilizer the soil would become acidic and the crops grow good in neutral soil

As we know that everything excessive is bad, by fertilizers it get very much protiens which gets harmful for it.... and the leaves drop......, the soil will also become very acitic.....
