why do lichens show symbiosis

because boths food process can be done together only..they do not have quality to make their food alone.

symbiotic plants share a close and mutually beneficial relationship..for example . lichen is a symbiotic association between algae and fungi... algae that contain chlorophyll provide food to fungi while the fungi help the algae attach to rocks or woods the fungi also help the algae to absorb minerals and water...
