So here's your answer :-
Liquids has comparetvily less density as compared to its sold form because :-
✴ The spaces between the particles of liquids has slightly more than in case of a solid.
✴In the solids , the particles are tightly packed thus giving a definite shape to the Solid....
so they show only vibration.

Liquid have lesser density then soild becoz the intermolcular space is more in liquid as compare to solid and their intermolcular force's weaker than soild as the molecules are loosely packed.
