liquids have lower density than solids because it has less intermolecular force of attraction . the spaces between the particles are bigger as compared to solids. i-on heating liquids, it will expand , the kinetic energy will increase and ii- rate of diffusion is Gasser when temperature is increased because of more kinetic energy.
