mixtures never posses a fixed melting point because they are mixtures meaning two different types of pure forms are added together and hence due to this the boiling point of both after mixing together becomes un-constant
reasons:-
1). the two or more pure forms of matter would also be having their own boiling point and hence when mixed together, there is no guarantee of their actual or overall boiling temp.
2). though some mixtures have such forms of matter which when heated change their charecteristics whether physical or chemical that's why it is also too difficult for a person to find a fixed boiling point of a mixture.
