why do mountaineers usually suffer from nose bleeding at high altitude​

this is because at low altitudes the pressure of air drops really low

at the same time the pressure put by blood in our body remains the same . due to the unbalance the capillaries in the nose rupture a bit giving them nose bleeds

Air pressure goes on decreasing as we go higher up, so at high altitudes, the atmospheric pressure becomes less than the pressure exerted by the blood inside the body. This causes some of the blood vessels burst and the nose starts bleeding.
