Why do municipal corporations ,today engage private companies for garbage collection.Give reason.....(urgent)

municipal corporations get very big funds by the government for garbage collection , whereas private companiea take less money.

So as to gain money (black money) they ask private companies to do this work for them in a lesser amount

The  first reason is to share the task with others. This is for division of labour in a region. Division of labour reduces a task force and pressure on other companies that are working on a task alone. The other reason is to provide work and jobs to other people who are jobless. The jobless people will join hands and form this private organisations which will then in turn be employed by the municipalities.
