when we need Oxygen and when the deficiency of oxyzen we need more and more oxygen when we run fast and when we don't get oxygen our muscles do anaerobic respiration in which lactic acid is formed which is harmful for our body and cause pain and this lactic acid remain in our muscles for sometime

muscles in legs get cramps because of lack of oxygen present in the cell of legs
it just not come within legs it is muscular tissue and it gets tired if it is involuntary muscles they it does not get tired
