Why do non conductors of electricity also get charged with static electricity on rubbing

Insulators can be easily charged by friction as the extra electrons gained CANNOT easily escape. Conductors: materials that allow electrons to flow through them easily. Conductors CANNOT be easily charged by friction as the extra electrons gained can easily escape.

Only non conductors get charged by static electricity cause the conversion of one form of energy to another form of energy is necessary so that there is lesser loss of friction force to static electricity.

Note - conductors don't get charged by static electricity.
