why do not planets twinkle? No spam please. ​

Planets do not twinkle like stars as planets appear larger to human eyes as compared to stars as planets are nearer to the earth than stars. thus angle subtended by planets at human eye is more. so their shift in position as compared to stars is small. since the shift is small, the planets do not twinkle.
