Why do not you see the image of your face when you're still in front of clean glass window pane

To see something with our eyes, the light reflected from it or emitted by it must reach to our eyes.
When we look in an mirror, the light reflected by our face, gets reflects on mirror and reaches to our eyes and hence we see our face in the mirror.
But when the light reflected by our face falls on the surface of a glass pane it doesn't bounce back towards our eyes but it get through the glass, that's why we can't our face in a clean glass window pane.
