this is not possible small light may enter in the room and strike on the objects and then on our eyes . practically , you close your room at night and switch off the light now tries to see the object.

Object in room becomes visible because of scattering of the sunlight through air, which makes the light enter the room by open ventilators and windows in diffused (spread over wide area) form. Thus, the room is visible even if sunlight don't enter it.
