Gametes are cells which helps in reproduction. Male gametes are called sperm and female gametes are called eggs. Sperms have tails and are mobile i.e., they can move from male to female body. Their tail helps them in movement. Egg do not need to move as it combines with the sperm. Therefore, only male gametes move and have a tail and not female gametes.
