⚫ BECAUSE THE OUTER MOST SHELL ARE KNOWN VALENCE SHELL .. AND ONLY THE OUTER MOST SHELL HAVE POWER TO SHARE OR TAKE ELECTRONS .. HENCE THE INNER SHELL DO NOT HELP IN CHEMICAL BONDING ..
