Opaque objects form shadow because:
- Opaque objects are objects that do not allow light waves to pass through them.
- Such objects always create a shadow.
- These objects block the path of light rays.
- Whenever the light cannot pass through an object it will create an area of darkness around the object which is called a shadow.
- The shape of the shadow will be the same as that of the object but the size will depend on the angle in which the light falls on the object.
