Humans have around 60% water in their body. The heart and brain of us humans are around 73% water whereas the lungs are around 83% water. Our bones too are around 1/3rd water.

An adult human male requires around three liters of water and an adult female requires around two liters every day.

This surface tension lends a sticky property to the water which helps it in transporting nutrients in an organism without any difficulty. The nutrients are then metabolized. The toxins are also flushed out by the same property of water.
