organisms need proper nutrients for energy which helps to perform several works. the nutrients keeps us healthy, fit and fine.the nutrients provides energy to the cells of our body to perform the basic functions.
that nutrients are present in food
therefore organisms need food.

the 2 main modes are :-
1. autotropic mode
in which the organism prepare food itself. example - all green plants
2. heterotrophic mode
in which the organisms depends on other organism for food. example - all animals

The food we eat contains the nutrients that our bodies need to replace worn out cells, stay healthy and stay strong. It is the same for every living organism. Food comes in many different forms, and plants and animals have special organs or parts that absorb the goodies from the food we eat.
the two modes of nutrition are..
1 heterotrophic= organisms which depends on other for food
2autotrophic=organisms which make their own foof
