HEY FRIEND

HERE IS YOUR ANSWER-

SOME MAMMALS LIKE MICE PRODUCES A DOZEN OF OFFSPRINGS WHILE SOME FOR EXAMPLE-HUMAN ONLY ONE.IT DEPENDS ON MANY FACTORS.

SOME FACTORS ARE-

SOME FEMALE'S HAVE A LARGE REPRODUCTIVE AREA TO STORE LITTERS.

SOME MAMMALS LIKE LIONS HAVE A THREATH THAT OTHER PREDATORS WILL EAT THEUR OFFSPRINGS SO THEY PRODUCE MORE OFFSPRING SO THAT IF 3 OR 4 OF THEM ARE KILLED SO SOME WILL LEFT.

MAMMALS ARE CLASSIFIED INTO TWO CATEGORIES R-RELATIVE AND K-RELATIVE. THE K RELATIVE PRODUCE ONLY ONE OFFSPRING WHILE R-RELATIVE PRODUCES LITTER.

IN SOME MALE'S THERE IS MORE THEN ONE SPERM SO DURING FERTILIZATION,IN FEMALE BODY MANY SPERMS ARE INJECTED AND GET MATURED.

HOPE THIS WILL HELP YOU.
