why do passengers standing in a moving bus feel a forward push when the driver applies the brakes suddenly? {2 marks}

It is due to inertia forces. while the bus is in motion,the passengers were also in the same inertia of motion. when the bus stops suddenly, it is this tendency of the inertia of motion of the passengers which results in the forward throwing of them in their seats.

it is due to the conservation of momentum or secon dlaw of moment of inertia
