Hi,
=======:
Here is your answer,
=======:
The tendency of a body to oppose any chamge in its direction of motion is known as inertia of direction. Here, in this also when the bus make a sharp turn then passengers actually move towards the centre of the curved road to maintain its motion of straight line during which is acquired because if linear motion in linear motion (of before turn).
=======
HOPE YOU WILL UNDERSTAND MY WORDS, a request is here please as I am an ACE ranker I wish that to make my way easy for the GENIUS rank you should mark my answer brainlest if you wish then only ☺.

when car or bus run along a straight line motion our body also move with the same speed along the straight line but when car or bus turn side way our body upper portion is still continues the straight line motion but lower portion of body move with the car or bus so we fall sideway when the bus takes sharp turn due to inertia of direction
