Why do people ask you, "Can I ask you a question?" It's not like you have a choice, they already did.

I have standard answers for questions like that. When someone asks me, “Can I ask you a question?” I always immediately reply, “You just did.”

Other examples, when someone asks me “What’s up?” or the even more irritating “S’up?” I usually answer “The ceiling.” if indoors; and, I answer “The sky.” if we’re outside. People look really confused when I do that.

It’s not a question, but when someone says “Have a good day.” or, even worse, “Have a good one.” I sometimes reply “I wasn’t planning on having a bad one. How about you?”

Nevertheless, a “Thank you.” always gets an instant reply of “You’re welcome.” I never walk away without saying anything in reply as a lot of people do.

Finally, the thing I do that really annoys the hell out of people is when I say “Hello, Good Morning.” and don’t get a reply. I turn around after the person passed me and I say, “Excuse me. Maybe you didn’t hear me? I said, Good Morning.” That always gets me an embarrassed look and a reluctant “Good Morning.”

I guess I really can be an irritating person sometimes. Sorry, but it’s just a personal peeve for me.

hope it helps u siso...✍️✍️☺️
