Why do people call India a land of diversity?

India is a diverse which is why it is referred as Land of diversity

Large geographical area. 7th Largest in the world. From Tip of Kashmir to Kanniyakumari in the south and from Gujarat in West to Arunachal Pradesh in East. And not to forget Andaman and Nicobar And Lakshadweep islands. These together comprise of 29 states and 7 union territories.
