why do people consider democracy as the best form of Government? give reasons

In democracywe have power has divided into many groups thats why their have free and fair election.
Also bcz of democracy theirhave many parties.which give choice to Give vote by peoples.

But in Monarchy or non Democracy their haven't power is divided into many group. There have power in only one hand that'swhy there haven't chance of free and fair election.
